The horse history list
The history list page
The horse history list shows the complete service history for a horse. Entries in the horse history are created in 2 ways:
- Every time you create an invoice and add any service or product to a horse, Best Farrier adds an entry to that horse’s history. This way, you can look back and know when you saw the horse and what was done that day.
- You can also add your own notes, with pictures, and date them so they will show in the appropriate spot on the horse’s service timeline.
All the history and notes are ordered from the newest to the oldest, so you always see the more recent activity first. You can also pin notes to the top of the screen, so they’re always the first thing you see: maybe a picture of the horse for identification, or some special note from the vet that you need to keep handy.
The icons on the left of each entry show if that entry is a service (automatically generated by an invoice), a text note or a note containing a picture.
The padlock () on the right means those entries cannot be changed or removed (as they were created by an invoice). A pushpin icon () on the right indicates the note is pinned to the top of the list.
The top bar will let you add new notes () or search by date or any text inside the notes ().
Tapping on a note will open it so you can view its contents.
About notes with pictures
Best Farrier doesn’t store the pictures you use on notes on your device. All pictures are uploaded to the cloud and downloaded when necessary. This is done to save up space on your device and so the app’s database doesn’t grow incredibly large. Therefore, in order to create notes with pictures or view notes containing pictures, you must be connected to the internet.
