How to use reports
Although each report has its own options, they all share some common features. See the example below:
Most reports have a couple of options at the top, like a contact list, or buttons to change the format of that report. Those are different for each report, but are clearly labeled.
Below that, they have some date ranges, appropriate to the report. Select the date range you want from the predefined options (e.g. “Year to date”), or select Custom if you’d like to select a specific range. Tap on the dates to change them.
The three buttons at the bottom allow you to:
- View the report on your device (you can pinch in and out to zoom, and drag the screen)
- Print the report if you have a wireless printer available (some devices may allow you to print to a PDF file too)
- E-mail the report. When e-mailing, the app will default to an appropriate address. Some reports might be addressed to you, like your income report, or your appointment list. Others might go to contacts, like the account history or the appointment list, if filtered by contact. You can always change that on the e-mail app, like you would with a regular e-mail that you send on your device.
