These settings control the general behavior of the app. There are several sections for different parts of the app, described below.
These settings affect the whole app.
Order contacts by last name: if checked, contacts are ordered by last name everywhere a contact list is shown. If not, they’re ordered by first name.
Date format: chose either MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY.
Paper size: used when creating PDFs, it’s either Letter or A4.
Your business name, e-mail and address. These are printed on your invoices. The e-mail is also used when sending e-mails, either as the sender or as a recipient for some reports.
Invoice and payment preferences
These settings affect invoices and payments.
Default payment type: the method of payment initially chosen when entering a new payment.
Simplify invoice items: if checked, the line items on invoices only show the service description, quantity and total price. Otherwise, the unit price and adjustments are also included.
Default invoice notes: this text is included in the notes of invoices when they’re created.
E-mail me invoice copies: if checked, your business e-mail defined above is added as a CC when e-mailing invoices to contacts.
PayPal and Venmo links: links to your PayPal and Venmo accounts, if any. Usually, for PayPal it is “https://PayPal.me/<your PayPal name>” and for Venmo it is “https://venmo.com/<your Venmo name>”.
These options define some of the schedule behaviors.
Week starts on Sunday: if checked, the schedule is arranged from Sunday to Saturday. If not, from Monday to Sunday.
Day starts at: the time your schedule starts. The schedule shows times going from your starting hour until midnight.
Default interval between visits: used as the default time between visits, when scheduling horses.
